Donald Trump’s ‘Family-Friendly’ TRUTH Social to Launch In March
By Movieguide® Contributor
Former President Donald Trump is ready to launch his new social media platform, TRUTH Social, complete with strict “family-friendly” guidelines.
The company’s CEO, Devin Nunes, told Fox Business: “We want to be very family-friendly, we want this to be a very safe place, and we are focused on making sure any illegal content is not on the site.”
Nunes and Trump previously stated that they plan to release TRUTH by the end of March.
The Trump Media & Technology Group partnered with Hive, which provides automated content moderation across images, videos, text, and audio.
“Hive has a great track record in this, and they have been good to work with,” Nunes said about the partnership. “They are very helpful for our team and because of their experience, I think they’re helping to craft the right spot for us.”
Hive co-founder and CEO Kevin Guo said that Hive’s software helps to keep violence, bullying, hate speech, sexually explicit content, and spam off of the platform.
“TMTG really has been proactive,” Guo said. “For them, moderation has always been core. They have been very thoughtful about this.”
“We want people to have a good experience on the platform, and they are not going to have a good experience if there is illegal activity on the platform, so that is the real necessity for this,” Nunes explained. “We want to be the most family-friendly site.”

Miller continued: “This is something that I think will be the hottest ticket in social media. It’s going to completely redefine the game, and everybody is going to be waiting and watching to see what exactly President Trump does.”
Miller predicted Trump will draw in “tens of millions of people,” and, “This new platform is going to be big.”
