Country icon Dolly Parton and fellow hosts Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett also plan to perform at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards.

According to Fox News, Parton will team with Kelsea Ballerini to perform a song from her new album, “Run, Rose, Run.”

The ACM Awards will take place in Los Vegas on March 7 and feature well-known artist performances from Luke Bryan, Chris Young, Kane Brown, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Chris Stapleton, Eric Church, and many more.

Many of these performers are open about their Christian faith, including hosts Parton, 76, and Barrett, 21.

Movieguide® previously reported:

Parton said that she treasures the early morning because it allows her to focus on God and ask Him how to glorify His name through her work throughout the rest of her day.

“I’m a very spiritual person,” Parton said. “Every single day, before I do anything, I wake up and I thank God for the night and ask Him to bless the day and to bring all the right things… all the wrong people out of my life, and bring all the right stuff in. And just to guide me, lead me. And I always pray that he’ll let me uplift mankind and glorify Him.”

Barrett rose to fame after her performance on AMERICAN IDOL as a 17-year-old.  Movieguide® previously reported:

In 2018, a 17-year-old Gabby Barrett auditioned for the singing competition show AMERICAN IDOL and finished in third place.

“IDOL was such a huge highlight in my career. Even if it’s not the end all be all, it’s a big part of my journey,” Barrett said. “Two years later, people still message me, saying, ‘I just watched your performance of [Miranda Lambert’s] ‘Little Red Wagon’ on IDOL and I love it’ … It’s really nice to see people stick with you.”

Barrett also just announced the release of her first Christmas track with her rendition of the timeless classic “The First Noel.”

“Christmas is one of my absolute favorite days of the year,” Barrett said. “My faith is the cornerstone of my life, so being able to share both with ‘The First Noel’ is a gift. I feel so blessed to do what I do every day, and I hope that this song adds something special to your holidays.”
