For KING & COUNTRY Raise Money For Fans Involved In Fatal Car Crash Post Concert

By Movieguide® Contributor

Popular Christian band for KING & COUNTRY recently reached out to fans and asked for prayers for concertgoers who were involved in a serious car accident after attending one of their shows.

“We had a tragedy in our Indiana family the night before last,” they captioned a concert shot. “As you can see pictured (swipe right), Craig and Leslie Coffman attended our show at @morrispac and were involved in a catastrophic car accident just minutes from home.”

“Leslie is home with God, passed into the next life, and I spoke to Craig this morning as he’s in the ICU at South Bend Memorial Hospital,” the caption continued. “Would you turn your powerful minds and prayers toward Craig, as well as their daughters Anna & Lillian – let’s rally as a community and do all we can.”

“If you can help with any financial support also, a @gofundme link is in our bio. From what it looks like, he won’t be leaving the hospital for quite some time and it would greatly help their daughters and family,” they concluded.

The comment section quickly filled with fans and followers who are praying for the family at this terrible time.

The GoFundMe for the Coffman family has already amassed over $32,000 towards their $50,000 goal.

Movieguide® has previously reported on for KING & COUNTRY’S charitable efforts:

Christian band for KING & COUNTRY has partnered with humanitarian organization Convoy of Hope to raise over $150,000 for victims of the Ukrainian invasion.

Brothers Luke and Joel Smallbone hosted a free online concert earlier this month from the Mojave Desert in California. More than 300,000 people attended the virtual show as the group played songs from their latest album, What Are We Waiting For?

In an interview with Fox & Friends, the Smallbones said that the idea for the concert came from some advice that their father had given them when they were young.

“He said, ‘When people are in need, you help.’ You know, everybody can play a part, everybody can do something. For us, this is our way to hopefully help people that are being displaced, that are going through incredibly difficult things as we speak,” Luke shared.

The brothers were not expecting such a massive amount of money to be raised.

“We sort of said we are not going to put a price tag on this thing. We thought maybe 50 grand. So, for our supporters to show up with 150 grand and counting is just incredible,” Joel said.
