DUDE DAD Taylor Calmus Announces First Children’s Book: ‘It’s A Dream-Come-True’

Taylor Calmus, also known as Dude Dad, has just announced the release of his first children’s book!
Calmus rose to fame with his DUDE DAD YouTube videos. He is now also the host of SUPER DAD, a Magnolia Network show that sees him help other handy dads with backyard projects for their children.
“Dad and the Recycling Bin Rollercoaster” tells the story of a father trying out one DIY project after another to entertain his kids.
“As fathers, reading to our kids is one of the easiest ways to connect with our children,” Calmus said of his latest book. “It’s a dream-come-true for our family to have our own children’s book.”
Calmus has also authored the father-focused pregnancy guide “A Dude’s Guide to Baby Size” and the comedy book “A Daily Dose of Dad Jokes: 365 Truly Terrible Wisecracks.”
“Dad and the Recycling Bin Rollercoaster” is expected to hit bookstores May 16.

According to DUDE DAD and SUPER DAD star Taylor Calmus, his entertainment has one goal: to help fathers raise their children in the most epic way.
One of Calmus’ coffee mugs sold on his site defines a “Dude Dad”: “1. A father dedicated to raising children in the most epic way possible 2. Like a normal dad except more fun.”
The father of three recently reflected on his journey to creating content specifically geared toward dads and how his move to Colorado kick-started his “Dude Dad” videos on YouTube.
“I’d seen a lot of mommy vlogs, but there was nothing out there for dads,” he told The Gazette. “I wanted to share my experiences as a dad.
“You have decades of culture telling us that being a dad sucks, our dads are stupid,” he continued. “We show the side of competency when it comes to being a dad and being excited about fatherhood.”
Aside from his YouTube channel and show in partnership with Chip and Joanna Gaine’s Magnolia Network, he also published a book called “A Dude’s Guide to Baby Size.”
“What we’re doing is more than entertainment,” he said. “We have a bigger purpose of putting good into the world. We’re just trying to be a happy place in the corner of the internet.”
