Kourtney Kardashian Calls THE CHOSEN ‘So Good’

Kourtney Kardashian and Kris Jenner shared that they are watching THE CHOSEN.
“Watching @thechosentvseries bc @krisjenner and MJ said so. SO GOOD,” Kourtney Kardashian shared on an Instagram story.
The public praise of THE CHOSEN from the Kardashians highlights the show’s wide appeal. While the reality stars say they are Christians, they aren’t known for their faith.
But with its high-quality production value and faithfulness to the Bible, it’s no wonder THE CHOSEN has become as popular as it has. It has smashed multiple records and has captured the attention of millions—not all of whom are Christian.
Director and creator Dallas Jenkins said the show’s “humanity” draws audiences.
“The thing that makes it different…you see Jesus laughing with his friends, you see him dancing with his friends at a wedding. You see the disciples and even the enemies of Jesus as real human beings with lives and struggles and questions and doubts, dealing with the same issues that we’re dealing with today,” he said, as Movieguide® previously reported.
While the series grew from a relatively small project into a worldwide phenomenon, it is committed to depicting Jesus in a biblically and historically accurate way.
The show has only continued to grow as its outreach efforts have resulted in widespread translation and various avenues to view the show, such as on Netflix or cable television through The CW, along with its free THE CHOSEN app.
Fans of the show have much to be excited about as season 4 nears. Shooting for the season wrapped in August after production received an exemption to continue working despite the actors’ strike.
With the show well into the post-production stage, season 4 is expected to release sometime in 2024.

THE CHOSEN director, producer and creator Dallas Jenkins shared a few insights into what Season 4 holds during a Facebook live stream this past Sunday.
“Season 4 is actually coming in theaters,” Jenkins said, adding that the goal for THE CHOSEN is to debut all upcoming seasons in theaters as well.
Jenkins also confirmed that editing has wrapped on the first three episodes of season 4.
