JESUS REVOLUTION’s Joel Courtney Wants to Share Gospel Through Acting

Joel Courtney opened up about why he shares the Gospel through acting and what it meant for him to work on JESUS REVOLUTION.
“I think it’s what we’re called to do,” he said of sharing his faith. “The great command is to go and, you know, spread the Gospel…My medium is filmmaking and acting. And I think that’s just the way that God has, you know, called me to spread the Word.”
JESUS REVOLUTION was an opportunity for Courtney to do just that.
“It’s it’s a story that, you know, combines a lot of things I’m passionate about: art, artists, good storytelling, my faith. So it was it was honestly a dream come true getting to work on a project like that,” he told Movieguide®.
As a rising Hollywood star who holds onto his faith, he hopes to remind his younger fans that with Jesus, they’re never alone.
“Jesus is always with you. You’re always loved. You’re always cared for…Jesus is always present,” he said. “And so if you are struggling in life, just open up the Word. I mean, it’s just really the only answer that there is in life that I’ve discovered.”
