Worship Group Tops Billboard Gospel Albums Chart

Transformation Worship has made it to the top of Billboard’s Gospel Album Chart for the second time with its new record, “Dominion.”

“The album includes singles such as ‘Dominion,’ ‘Look at My Fruit’ and ‘Yours.’ According to Billboard, Dominion earned 5,000 units in its opening week,” The Christian Post reported July 29.

The record, which released July 12, also earned the No. 2 spot on the Top Christian Albums Chart. It came in second to Elevation Worship’s “When Wind Meets Fire.”

“Transformation Worship first hit the national scene with the viral success of its single ‘Overflow,’ which was first heard at the 2022 V02 Conference held at Transformation Church,” The Christian Post reported.

Transformation Church’s statement about “Dominion” reads:

Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma, launched Transformation Worship. Michael Todd, an author and charismatic evangelist, serves as the lead pastor.

In 2021, Movieguide® reported that a movie will be made about Todd’s book, “Relationship Goals:”

The book is based on Todd’s viral, multimillion-view sermon series about dating, marriage and sex. Relationship Goals spent 13 straight weeks on the New York Times bestsellers list and debuted at No. 1 on Amazon. The musical single “Relationship Goals (Revelation)” reached No. 10 on Billboard’s R&B chart.

Franklin is set to produce the upcoming movie under his Franklin Entertainment company.
