Jenny Marrs shared a family outing to Leanna Crawford’s concert that got her children grinning ear to ear after worshipping the Lord together.

“If you’ve ever watched a little girl and her best friend experience a dream come true, you know how immensely special the moment is. You know you’ll want to freeze time and bottle up their joy. You know you’ll say a prayer of gratitude for the fact that she looks up to one of the kindest, Godly and authentic humans you’ve had the pleasure of meeting,” the HGTV star wrote on Instagram. “@leannacrawfordmusic – thank you for making my girl’s night. She couldn’t stop crying tears of pure happiness as you sang ‘Still Waters’ and she sang along🥹.”

“And even though the[y] tried to act cool, my three teenagers were grinning ear to ear all night” Jenny Marrs added. “All of us left the show filled to the brim. It was a beautiful, holy, memorable, freeze-time kind of night💕💕💕

Though Crawford is relatively new to the music scene, only releasing her debut album last year, her entire life has been covered in worship and creating songs to honor the Lord. Throughout middle school and high school she would spend hours at the piano worshipping God and writing new music, honing the craft, which allowed her debut album to be so impactful.

“[Songwriting] is still a beautiful process, but it’s also a skill that you learn,” Crawford said. “This is the struggle: trying to keep it this beautiful, worshipful process where it still feels creative and beautiful and also work, working on the skill of songwriting.”

Her debut album, however, almost didn’t succeed as Crawford struggled to keep the joy of making music as she began pursuing it for her career.

“A couple years ago, I almost quit this dream I had of making music. I let the pressure of it all consume me so much that I couldn’t sit down and write without breaking down in tears,” she shared on Instagram. “I felt like I had failed everyone around me, myself and even God. I was so wrapped up in this need to have everything go exactly like I planned… This album, my debut album, was mostly written in the middle of this all. In these songs you’ll hear me praising God and praying in my hardest moments… No matter where you’re at today, God isn’t giving up on you. You are loved and your story matters to Him.”
