Hallmark’s latest culinary venture, BAKED WITH LOVE: HOLIDAY, will be hosted by none other than TV personality Tamera Mowry-Housley.
The new competition show will feature 10 sets of home bakers as they compete for $50,000, Deadline reported.
Mowry-Housley will host and judge alongside Chef Anna Haugh and Vaughn Vreeland.
“This show is the perfect recipe for joy, combining the magic of baking for the holidays with the warmth, charm, and heartfelt connections that embody the Hallmark spirit,” said David Stefanou, Hallmark’s head of unscripted content. “We’re thrilled to bring audiences a series that mixes delectable treats with the comforting, feel-good storytelling our viewers love and expect. It’s about more than just competition. It’s about living your best Hallmark life.”
The show is produced by Objective Entertainment. Chole Court will be the showrunner. Alice Banks will produce, and Lucy Shepherd will serve as director of programs. Clair Carney will executive produce, and Charlie Williams will serve as line producer.
Production for the series just finished, and the show will premiere sometime later this year.

Housley shared on her Instagram account, “I’m SO excited to announce that I’ll be a host on BAKED WITH LOVE: HOLIDAY alongside @haughser and @vaughn! I had the sweetest time with these two and loved being back in my hosting element—especially for a channel that’s near and dear to my heart, @Hallmark.”
“You know I LOVE baking and Christmas, so this one was extra special,” she continued. “Can’t wait for you all to see it!”
Hallmark says the show will highlight families’ signature holiday bakes and their sentimental significance.
“BAKED WITH LOVE: HOLIDAY is part of Hallmark’s new slate of unscripted series, branded as ‘Reality TV with Heart,’” Hallmark said. “This original programming brings together friendly competition series, community building, home and lifestyle enhancement shows, aligning with the company’s brand principles of joy, hope, warmth, connection, family and most definitely…love.”
While Hallmark has quite a few movies centered around love and food and a few cooking shows like HEARTY COOKING SERIES, baking shows aren’t a regular for the network. The last baking series was in 2019, with a show called CHRISTMAS COOKIE MATCHUP. It featured Erin Krakow, Kavin Smith and other WHEN CALLS THE HEART cast members. The cast baked alongside talented home bakers in a Christmas cookie face-off.
BAKED WITH LOVE: HOLIDAY may set off a new trend for Hallmark with more cooking and baking shows. If the new series is successful, maybe there will even be another season.
