What You Need To Know:
THE STRANGERS: CHAPTER 2 is certainly suspenseful, but excruciating. Maya survives multiple attacks and even has to kill a wild boar that attacks her in the woods. Also, the local sheriff and his deputy are suspiciously corrupt in some way. Maya also learns that the killers have murdered more than 10 people so far. THE STRANGERS: CHAPTER 2 has lots of intense scary violence with blood. The movie also has 20 or more strong obscenities. However, it is easy to sympathize with and support the plucky heroine, played strongly by Madelaine Petsch.
Content:
Light moral worldview sides with plucky heroine against three vicious masked killers, plus a preacher is heard over the radio talking about Jesus Christ and sin, but it’s hard to tell from the movie whether this is a positive thing or not;
About 20 obscenities (including 13 “f” words), one profanity mentioning the name of Jesus, and one OMG profanity;
Some very strong bloody violence and lots of strong bloody violence includes one person shot in eye by a crossbow, another person shot in chest by crossbow, heroine finds two women tied up and having had their throats cut with lots of blood showing, heroine stabs one attacker in neck and temple with scissors, she stabs the same person with a pitchfork, woman hides in old rusted car as wild boar repeatedly slams the car, wild boar bites heroine in leg twice and tries to drag her away, heroine manages to stab the wild boar multiple times to kill it, heroine hides from killers as they explore her hiding places in a hospital, heroine hides next to a murdered corpse in morgue drawer, killers break into a bedroom and a bathroom to try to kill heroine, masked killer menaces heroine with an ax, heroine is scared of riding in car with two young women and two young men so she jumps out of the car while its traveling, heroine hides in woods and in a horse barn from killers, etc.;
No sex;
No nudity;
One young man is constantly drinking liquor and appears drunk;
No smoking or drugs; and,
There are hints the sheriff and his young deputy are corrupt and hiding the murders plaguing their town (the sheriff nixes bringing in the FBI or state police on a series of vicious killings for fear that they would expose some bad things about his department).
More Detail:
The movie starts in the hospital, where young Maya wakes up, with her wounds stitched up. Her fiancé, however, didn’t survive the attack from three vicious masked killers. One of the killers wears a scarecrow burlap sack over his face. The other two killers have an old-fashioned plastic doll mask and an old-fashioned plastic pin-up girl mask.
Maya isn’t safe, however. The first night, she hears someone apparently murder the male hospital attendant on duty. Maya leaves her hospital bed and must hide from the hooded killer, who has an ax.
The other two masked killers soon show up, but Maya evades them all to run into the woods. How long can she keep this up, however?

Also, the local sheriff and his deputy seem to be suspiciously corrupt in some way. Moreover, the murder of Maya’s fiancé appears to be part of a series of murders numbering 10 people or more.
