Sadie Robertson Huff opened up about how she feels about her daughters being part of her family’s reality TV series, DUCK DYNASTY: THE REVIVAL.

“You know what’s cool is, I told my mom this the other day. I said, ‘I hope you feel complimented by the fact that I’m doing so many things the same that you did for me as a kid. Like I’m wanting to repeat my childhood with them.’ And my mom was like, ‘That’s the nicest thing ever,’” the mom of three told Fox News Digital.

Huff continued, “And I really mean that. Like, you know, I think giving me the confidence to say yes to doing a TV show with my kids was because my mom did it with me when I was a kid, and I’m so grateful that she did.”

She and her family found fame in 2012 when DUCK DYNASTY began, but the world is a little different now, and Huff said there’s more to consider when it comes to putting children on TV.

She shares daughters Honey, Haven and Kit with husband Christian Huff, who she married in 2019.

“Now, there’s so many fears, there’s so many things that we’ve had to navigate in hard days. It was certainly way easier to do a TV show as the kid. I was just having fun. Now as the mom, you’re weighing all these things,” she explained.

“It was such a good experience for me as a kid, I wanted them to have it and my kids loved it. Every day Honey would be like, ‘Is the film crew coming tomorrow?’ She had so much fun filming. She is the biggest DUCK DYNASTY fan. She loves to watch the show, and it’s actually been really fun,” Huff shared. “So, I don’t know that we’re doing a lot differently.”

DUCK DYNASTY: THE REVIVAL Season 2 premiered on March 7.

The most recent episode took fans behind the scenes of Huff’s “WHOA That’s Good” podcast, and she expressed her gratitude for her family’s support.

“Saturday’s episode of @duckdynastyae was a fun one!!!! y’all saw me prepare to step away from @whoathatsgoodpodcast for a while as I was getting ready for maternity leave with Kit If you watched the episode, you got to see the fam audition for host of the podcast… let’s just say it was hilarious and we had so much fun 😂” she posted on Instagram.

Huff continued, “A huge part of my maternity leave looked like trusting others to keep everything moving, and I’m so thankful I have such an amazing team around me to make that happen!! God never asked us to carry everything on our own.”

The next episode of Season 2 airs on April 25.
