Peppa Pig is coming to the big screen, offering fans 10 new episodes full of new songs and music videos.

“PIG changes are coming!” a description of the PEPPA MEETS THE BABY Cinema Experience reads. “Join Peppa Pig and her family at the cinema as they get ready for their biggest adventure yet: welcoming a new baby! Celebrate the beginning of an exciting new era of Peppa Pig at this special, big screen experience with an hour of laughter, tears and loads of heartwarming moments.”

PEPPA MEETS THE BABY will show in over 2,600 theaters worldwide, and moviegoers are encouraged to “dance and sing along with Peppa and her family and friends.”

“For years, Peppa Pig has been at the forefront of creating engaging, immersive experiences for preschoolers,” Esra Cafer, Hasbro’s SVP of franchise strategy and management, preschool and fashion, told Parents. “The PEPPA MEETS THE BABY Cinema Experience builds on this legacy and invites families to be part of their biggest adventure yet — welcoming a new baby.”

In these new episodes, fans will see Peppa and her family deal with the changes and challenges that come from welcoming a new baby, from excitement and happiness to some jealousy and confusion on Peppa and brother George’s parts.

“But through it all, there are moments of sweetness as Peppa shows George the ropes of being a big sibling,” Cafer explained. “Expect a lovely mix of fun, laughter, and family firsts as they discover what it means to share their love and space with a new family member.”

Cafer added, “It’s a beautiful story about family, change, and growing together, all wrapped up in that signature Peppa charm fans know and love.”

The PEPPA MEETS THE BABY Cinema Experience is sure to bring in plenty of money at the box office. A report from Fortune estimated the franchise’s total sales to be somewhere around $1.7 billion, as of 2022.

“PEPPA PIG has already turned into a powerful brand with its own line of toys/merchandise and accessories — even theme parks,” Benjamin Burroughs, an associate professor of emerging media at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, told Fortune. “PEPPA PIG differentiated itself by being a quirky, lovable show.”

Cafer, who was also interviewed for the Fortune article, said, “PEPPA PIG is a unique character that resonates strongly with audiences because her courageous, confident personality is allowed to shine. She is a first best friend to preschoolers, encouraging them to jump in together and explore the world around them with confidence.”

PEPPA MEETS THE BABY will hit theaters May 30.
