Actress Jen Lilley shared five fun facts about herself to help her fans get to know her better, covering everything from her home decoration to her acting skills.
“1) My smile was on a Frito Lay bag sold nationwide in order to help raise funds for Operation Smile, which is a charity I love! 2) I was in the 10x Academy Award nominated and 5-time Academy Award winning Movie, THE ARTIST, as one of the only speaking roles. 3) I have 4 kids and a white couch…because washable slipcovers and calming neutrals give me life,” Lilley shared.
“4) I can make a steak better than any restaurant. Try me,” she continued. “5) My favorite animal is an elephant because they never forget each other and that gives me all the feels.”
While some of these facts may come as a surprise for even Lilley’s most die-hard fans, that’s not because she lives a closed-off life. On the contrary, she frequently invites her fans into her life and shares with them the things most important to her. Oftentimes this relates to her faith, such as her outspoken advocacy for adoption.
“[Adoption] has really taught me about how, when Jesus says we’re ‘grafted in,’ how greatly He means that,” Lilley said. “We are grated in, and we are heirs…with Jesus, with the Jewish people. So that’s what it’s taught me is that God loves us the same and that’s really humbling and astounding in every way.”

“I don’t look at my boys any different than I look at my girls,” Lilley, who has two adopted sons, later added. “I forget that I didn’t carry them in my body.”
Lilley’s work to help children in need has not stopped with her adopted sons. In 2023, she helped run a backpack drive that collected nearly 3,000 backpacks stuffed with school supplies for underserved children.
“Grateful beyond words!” she posted on Instagram. “Together, we’ve achieved something truly amazing — raising 2,964 backpacks filled with top-notch school supplies for children in foster care!”
“Plus, we gave 746 cozy blankets, 728 pairs of comforting pajamas and 222 stuffies! Thank you to everyone who contributed, donated, and spread the word,” Lilley continued. “Your kindness and compassion have made this possible! We cannot wait to continue making a positive impact and empowering these kids this fall! Love you, world changers!”
It is inspiring to see how Lilley uses the platform given to her through her acting career to bring good into this world and help serve those in need.
