A PRINCE IN PARADISE Gets Sequel for Great American Christmas 2024

Great American Media announced that Rhiannon Fish and Mitchell Bourke are set to return for a sequel to their 2023 movie A PRINCE IN PARADISE.
The sequel, A PRINCE IN PARADISE 2: A ROYAL PROPOSAL, follows Olivia (Fish) and Prince Alexander (Bourke) as they navigate their families, spending Christmas together at the family’s palace. Differences in culture lead to many comedic moments.
Vanessa Shapiro, Mike Gray and Jip Panosot will serve as executive producers on the movie with Steve Jaggi and Kylie Pascoe producing. The sequel was written by Caera Bradshaw and Adrian Powers.
“It’s not every day you get to dress up in a prince outfit and put on an accent,” Bourke told Digital Journal after the release of the first movie. “To be given the opportunity to play such a fun and deep character in Prince Alexander was pretty surreal and a huge privilege. Especially given that what Alexander stands for is something I can relate to.”
“His quest for love in a world that can be controlled and influenced by those around him is one that many can relate to… we are so often told what to like and to stay clear of, without giving ourselves the chance to figure it out for ourselves,” Bourke continued. “And until we do go out on our own and put ourselves into these situations, we never truly know what is good for us.”
A ROYAL PROPOSAL joins a growing list of exciting projects announced for this year’s Great American Christmas. Many of the network’s most beloved stars will be featured in this year’s holiday celebration.
Cameron Candace Bure, Danica McKellar, Cameron Mathison, Jill Wagner, Lauren Holly and Bruce Boxletiner have all announced projects with more developments to come. Most recently, Mario and Courtney Lopez joined the Great American Media network, with MY GROWN-UP CHRISTMAS WISH—a movie for this year’s Great American Christmas lineup—being their first project in a multi-year, multi-project deal.

The Lopezs are joining the Great American Family crew with an upcoming Christmas Movie, MY GROWN-UP CHRISTMAS WISH, featuring Mario and Courtney Lopez along with their son Dominic.

MY GROWN-UP CHRISTMAS WISH follows Mario Lopez’s character, Brian, as the mayor of Long Grove, a small, idyllic community.
