Influencer Brittany Lutz reminds her followers that attacks from the enemy are something to “get excited” about.
“If you’ve got some attacks coming your way and you are, like, ‘what the heck? I didn’t do anything wrong, I’m not walking in sin. This is not called for in any way’ — don’t get frustrated,” she said in an Instagram video. “Get excited.”
Lutz explained that these attacks mean “you are on the brink of something incredible and the enemy is like, ‘Oh, no, no, no, we can’t have them doing this,’ so he’s going to throw a ton of things at you so that you take yourself out.”

“He can’t take you out. He can’t touch you unless God gives him permission, so 99.99% of the time, he tries to get you to take yourself out, so you’re doing his work for him,” she continued. “So, don’t get frustrated, I know it’s hard, I know it’s exhausting sometimes to keep going when you just feel like you’re swimming upstream, but you’re on the brink of something incredible.”
Lutz frequently shares thoughts about her faith on Instagram. In a recent post, she cautioned followers against sticking to a wrong choice simply because they don’t want to admit they’re wrong.
“When I was younger I’d make a mistake and instead of immediately going to God for help/guidance/repentance, I’d STAY because it’s what I thought I deserved for making the wrong choice,” she wrote. “Praise Jesus that He gets our attention when we make a wrong step and instead of making us stay there to ‘teach us a lesson,’ He’s there holding the door open saying ‘Let’s get you out of here!! I have BETTER for you!’”
In another post, Lutz marveled at the paths she walked to get to the life she has now, with a loving husband, actor Kellan Lutz, and two children.
“To think there was a day I didn’t know if I’d get to experience this,” she captioned a video of herself spending time with her family. ‘If I had let lies about my worth write my story. If I had let doctors reports write my story. If I had let fear of losing another baby write my story. I wouldn’t be here living this life now.”
Lutz continued, “Jesus is the only One I want writing my story because He paid it all and because of what He did and who He is I get to take the coolest little girl on dates and have the best conversations and biggest laughs and experience the miracle that is motherhood.”
Lutz’s large social media following love hearing her encouraging messages of faith and her reminders to trust in the goodness of God.
