ESPN just announced it will provide full “wall-to-wall” coverage for the first-ever WWE Premium Live Event, WRESTLEPALOOZA.

“On September 20, WWE and ESPN are coming together for a can’t-miss event to kick off our new partnership,” WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque said in the press release. “The biggest Superstars in WWE. The biggest brand in sports media. Are you ready?”

WRESTLEPALOOZA marks the first event in a partnership between the WWE and ESPN. It will stream exclusively for ESPN Unlimited plan subscribers.

Hosted at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, the event “will feature a blockbuster headline attraction with John Cena, as well as Undisputed WWE Champion ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre in major matches throughout the night. This event, held in partnership with Indiana Sports Corp, will mark the last time Cena wrestles in Indianapolis.”

“We will take the fight to the beast, he tells this crowd,” the announcer said in the video. “…11 years ago was the last time [Cena and Lesnar] met. Now it’s right around the corner, going to run it back one last time in Indianapolis, the last real champ.”

Per ESPN, there will be two WRESTLEPALOOZA pre-event shows hosted by ESPN.

The ESPN WRESTLEPALOOZA® SPECIAL will air on Friday, Sept. 19 from 3-4 p.m. on ESPN2 and the ESPN App. Hosted by Peter Rosenberg and guest analyst and Indiana Pacers player Tyrese Haliburton, it will include appearances from WWE stars.

The second pre-show, the ESPN-produced ROAD TO WRESTLEPALOOZA, will come on Sept. 20, an “on-site, pre-event show available on ESPN social media platforms, including YouTube, as well as on the ESPN App from 3 to 5 p.m.”

“ROAD TO WRESTLEPALOOZA® will lead into WWE’s pre-show for the PLE starting at 5 p.m. Actor and musician O’Shea Jackson, Jr. and TJ Jefferson, the hosts of NO CONTEST WRESTLING, will co-host ROAD TO WRESTLEPALOOZA® where they’ll be joined by a variety of guests, including ESPN media personalities and WWE Superstars,” the press release said.

This can’t-miss event on Sept. 20 will feature some of the biggest and baddest names in WWE history.
