FULL HOUSE child stars Jodin Sweeten and Andrea Barber recently reminisced on the friendships fostered on the beloved ’90s show, specifically between Dave Coulier and the late Bob Saget.

“Everybody was so funny on your show — all the adult actors, they would just crack so many jokes, and it was just like a party the whole time,” Devon Odessa, who had a small role as a classmate on the show, said on the pair’s “How Rude, Tanneritos!” podcast. I had to keep a straight face, and I was laughing so hard off-stage because everybody was so, so funny.”

Sweetin explained that while on the show, the kids were “more professional” than the two adult stars who were enjoying their time.

“The kids, we had to be more together than the adults, for sure…so usually as the kids, we were maintaining the professionalism. Yeah, no, it was basically, if Bob and Dave were in the scene together, forget it, it was done. That was it,” she recalled.

She added, “Dave would start doing something and then Bob was like. ‘Wait, wait, wait, wait, look at me! Look at me!’ You know? And it would just escalate from there, but it was … the best environment to work in. It was so much fun.”

Saget died in 2022 due to a fall, but his sense of humor left a lasting mark.

In a statement regarding his death, his wife Kelly Rizzo said, “We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away… he was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter.”

In a previous interview with Parade, Coulier said of his friend, “I miss Bob so much, I truly had a brother [in him]. I met Bob when I was 18 years old. And by the way, yes, he comes to me in my dreams, and he always does something silly and foolish and makes me laugh.”

In a previous interview posted to Instagram, Coulier explained that Saget would’ve been by his side as he went through his recent cancer treatment.

“Bob would have been here every single day, he would have called me every day,” he said. “‘How are you doing? How are you? What’s the prognosis? Dave, tell me what’s going on.’ And he would have driven me crazy, and you know, it was a lovable crazy that he had.”

Saget may be gone, but his memory lives on through his friends, family and costars, especially Coulier.
