GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE Movie to Come to Theaters 2025

Hey Gabby, take us to the dollhouse… movie? That’s right Gabby cats, GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE will be coming to a theater near you next year.

From Dreamworks Animation, GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE will be directed by Ryan Crego. Crego previously worked on several Movieguide®’s Teddy Award® winning and nominated projects including TURBO and PUSS IN BOOTS.

The movie is based on a series of the same name that frequents Netflix’s Kids’ Top 10 List.

Movieguide®’s recent review of Season 9 reads:

GABBY’S DOLLHOUSE is a light-hearted TV series that transports children into an imaginary world where toys come to life. With a mixture of live action and animation, Gabby takes kids on adventures around her magical dollhouse. Each episode presents challenges she and her friends must navigate, teaching children problem-solving skills and the importance of teamwork.

In each episode, Gabby, a cat-loving girl, receives a “dollhouse delivery” package each day that gives her clues for the day’s mission. She then shrinks down to dollhouse size and enters an animated world where practically everything is a cat. She has many cat friends within her dollhouse world, including Pandy, Kitty Fairy, DJ Catnip, Mercat, Baby Box, Carlita, and Pillow Cat.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Laila Lockhart Kraner will reprise her role as Gabby, who “goes on a road trip with her Grandma Gigi to the urban wonderland of Cat Francisco. But when Gabby’s dollhouse, her most prized possession, ends up in the hands of an eccentric cat lady named Vera, Gabby sets off on an adventure through the real world to get the Gabby Cats back together and save the dollhouse before it’s too late.”

Fans meowed their excitement on the official Instagram announcement.
