Is There Any Hope for the FBI Franchise?

Despite CBS cancelling both FBI: INTERNATIONAL and FBI: MOST WANTED, their show universes will still exist, confirmed star Zeeko Zaki.

“Maybe there will be opportunities for me to work with all of them in the future. Their worlds will stay alive regardless of the shows,” Zaki said.

“Their worlds will stay alive regardless of the shows. … I would’ve loved to do a few more crossovers and get to work with the entirety of the cast and stuff like that, so I’m a little sad about that,” Zaki added. “I’ve always been jealous of our International cast and crew that get to film over in Europe. But we’ll see. Who knows?”

Additionally, the FBI: CIA spin-off is still reportedly in the works.

TVLine reports that the offshoot will follow “a dedicated, strait-laced FBI agent and a street-smart CIA agent join forces as part of a new, clandestine task force charged with solving and preventing domestic terrorism in and around New York City.”

While showrunners continue to work on the CIA spin-off, FBI: MOST WANED and FBI: INTERNATIONAL still have a few more episodes left before they leave the air.

Despite the fan outrage, the shows reportedly lost a chunk of their viewership over the last year.

FBI: MOST WANTED aired its 100th episode on March 11.

“I’m super proud of the work we’ve done over the last 6 years! Thanks to our incredibly hardworking crew, production, writers, directors and cast!” Actress Roxy Sternberg said.
