By Movieguide® Staff
JUNGLE CRUISE, the upcoming Disney movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt, is set to release July 30 after changing release dates due to COVID-19.
Recently, on the “Daily Pop” podcast from E! News, the two stars discussed the importance of marriage.
Emily Blunt, who is married to actor and director John Krasinski, recently starred in A QUIET PLACE PART II, an expression of the couple’s love for family.
The couple, who were married in July 2010, share two daughters Hazel, 7, and Violet, 5.
“Just love,” the 38-year-old actress said of the secret to her happy family. “You’ve got to keep loving and loving, and just listening.”
Johnson, who married Lauren Hashian in 2019, also expressed his gratitude for his wife on the podcast.
“Anytime you have a disagreement, we immediately try to immediately get to the other side of it really quickly,” he said. “I usually end up saying ‘I’m sorry…'”
Johnson and Hashian share two daughters as well, Jasmine, 5, and Tiana, 3.
“What I found in watching Lauren, her incredible ability to manage babies and life and being a working mom as well, and manage a household,” the 49-year-old actor revealed. “It’s really incredible.”
Aside from Blunt and Johnson, JUNGLE CRUISE also features Jesse Plemons, Edgar Ramirez, Jack Whitehall, and Paul Giamatti, based on a famous theme park ride at Disneyland.
Despite the delays to release, Johnson and Blunt are excited for audiences to watch the family adventure in theaters. The movie will also be available on Dinsey+.
