Former tattoo artist Kat Von D shared a video of her baptism following a long journey of personal transformation after she renounced the occult and witchcraft last year.
She captioned the video with a cross.
“Katherine von Drachenberg, upon your profession of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in obedience to His Divine command, I baptize you, my sister, in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,” the pastor said before submerging a white robe-clad Von D.
Von D joyfully hugged him as she emerged from the water.
Von D has spoken about her faith journey on social media. In one video, she told her followers that her baptism “was one of the most important days of my life.”
“I’m on fire for Jesus. I don’t plan on this dimming out,” she said via Fox News. “The more and more I learn, the more excited I get about things and the more at ease I am about what’s happening in this world and what’s happening in my marriage, in all of it.”

Kat Von D, a world-renowned tattoo artist and TV star, opened up in a recent Instagram post about throwing out books on witchcraft, magic and the macabre to fight the spiritual battle.
“I’ve always found beauty in the macabre, but at this point, I just had to ask myself what is my relationship with this content? And the truth is, I just don’t want to invite any of these things into our family’s lives, even if it comes disguised in beautiful covers, collecting dust on my shelves,” she said.
Because of that realization, Von D went through her library and threw out every book on witchcraft, magic, the macabre, and tarot cards because they “don’t align” with her anymore.
The former makeup mogul, known for her gothic aesthetic, explained, “In no way is this post designed to put anyone down if you’re into this stuff, because I think we are all on our own journey.”
“But right now, it’s never been more clear to me that there is a spiritual battle taking place, and I want to surround myself and my family with love and light,” she added.
