May Summit Targets Ways To End Pornography and Sex Trafficking

More than 100 leaders are coming together May 15-17 in Alexandria, Va., near Washington, D.C., to train, network, and strategize at the Coalition To End Sexual Exploitation 2014 Summit.
Morality in Media (MIM) and PornHarms.com are hosting the summit.
During the summit, MIM is partnering with the Leadership Institute to conduct classes by top media and fundraising instructors on how to greatly improve social networking and Internet outreach; dramatically increase fundraising efforts; and, get your message across to local and national media.
Top speakers will present the most up-to-date research findings on the harmful effects of pornography.
The speakers will include brain surgeon Dr. Donald L. Hilton, Dr. Sharon Cooper of the University of North Carolina, author Dr. Gail Dines, former porn movie producer Donny Pauling, and MIM Executive Director Dawn Hawkins.
Among the topics being explored at the summit are links between pornography and sex trafficking, long-term consequences of pornography use, faith-based approaches, online fundraising, the care and feeding of donors, recovery and healing from pornography addiction, strategies for discussing pornography with teenagers, and legal issues.
