Newsboys Celebrate Easter in Latest Single ‘He Lives’

Christian band Newsboys has just released the group’s first single of 2023, “He Lives.”
“‘He Lives’ is such a powerful song about the resurrection of our Savior.” lead singer Michael Tait shared. “Having sung it at church while we are home from the road, I knew it was one to include as we put this next project together, and to have it feature our friend and touring mate Adam Agee as he joins the band, it is the perfect song to celebrate this Easter season.”
Agee, a former member of Stellar Kart and Audio Adrenaline, has been touring with Newsboys for years as a solo artist, as well as a speaker for Child Fund International.
“I’ve been best friends with these guys for most of my career and have been able to spend the last several years on tour with them,” Agee said. “I am very excited about this next season together as friends and now band-mates, and what God calls us to do with it!”
The Newsboys and Agee are currently on tour with the Let The Music Speak Experience, which will hit cities across America, England and Germany.
“He Lives” is now available on all streaming platforms.

The Newsboys are encouraging their fans to disregard social and political differences and come together as they head back out on the road for their “Stand Together Tour.”
“It’s such a divided country nowadays,” band frontman Michael Tait told the Christian Post. “Divided over race, wars in other countries, the world’s in disarray, but the Bible tells us it was coming anyway. The more important question is, where do we stand in all of this? Where are our heads? Where are our hearts?”
The band is encouraging people to maintain love and hope, even in these tumultuous times.
“I think the best years are ahead of this. I don’t believe everything I see on mainstream media,” drummer Ducan Phillips said. “I’m not saying it’s not real, don’t get me wrong. I know it’s real, I know it’s really happening, but I think sometimes there’s a lot more going on. So be encouraged; God is good, we win in the end, it’s all good.”
