CBS has a new surprise for this holiday season — A PAW PATROL CHRISTMAS special.
The special will air on Nov. 28 at 8 p.m. ET. Rubble takes the lead in the special, which features original and classic Christmas songs, Variety reported.
“He is looking forward to Santa bringing him a new laser drill, but things take a turn when Santa comes down with a cold and can’t deliver any presents,” the logline reads. “When Mayor Humdinger decides he’s going to the North Pole to take all the gifts for himself, it’s up to the PAW Patrol to stop him.”
The episode is a part of an hour-long slate of specials that highlights a different dog. The first special, VALIENTE: A TRACKER STORY will come out on Nickelodeon on Oct. 3. The rest of the specials will air next year.

The franchise has been around for over a decade now. It has its children’s show, two PAW PATROL movies and a spinoff series, not to mention lots of books, toys and merch. It’s distributed in 180 territories and has been translated into 33 languages.
The Christmas special is the first time PAW PATROL will have ever aired on CBS, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Nickelodeon shared photos of the special on Instagram Wednesday. In them, Rubble sports a bright orange shiny nose as he uses his construction tools to lift ornaments.
Paramount+ Premium subscribers can stream the special live through their local CBS affiliate on the service and on demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will have access to on-demand content the day after the episode airs, Vital Thrills reported.
The franchise will introduce PAW PATROL Season 12 next year, as well as PAW PATROL: THE DINO MOVIE. The first two PAW PATROL movies made $350 million globally.
Jennifer Dodge, Laura Clunie and Toni Stevens produce THE DINO MOVIE. Ronnen Harary executive produces, and Cal Brunker and Bob Barlen wrote the script.
In the movie, the pups find a mysterious island after a bad storm. There, they meet Rex, a stranded pup, and discover Humdinger’s mining activities that eventually trigger a volcanic eruption. It’ll be the Paw Patrol’s biggest rescue yet, Deadline reports.
Cast includes Jameela Jamil, Terry Crews, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, Bill Nye, Meredith MacNeill, Jennifer Hudson, Fortune Feimster, Mckenna Grace and Ron Pardo. Lucien Duncan-Reid and Nylan Parthipan will return as pups Rubble and Zuma. Carter Young voices Marshall, Hayden Chemberlen voices Rex, Rain Janjua voices Chase, William Desrosiers voices Rocky and Henry Bolan stars as Ryder.
The movie comes out on Aug. 14, 2026, bumped from a previous July release date.
