Nickelodeon will debut five all-new hour-long PAW PATROL specials soon.
The first special on the list is VALIENTE: A TRACKER STORY, set to premiere in the fall.
“Tracker and his caretaker Carlos come across groups of nocturnal animals fleeing the scary Shadow Jungle region,” the description reads. “With help from Ryder and the PAW Patrol pups, Tracker and Carlos must brave their fear of the dark and stop a new villain, Lucita Mala, before she forever turns nighttime into daytime.”
Next up is A PAW PATROL CHRISTMAS, which will see Santa catching a cold, Mayor Humdinger trying to sabotage any gift-giving and the pups’ efforts to stop him.
The other three specials will come out next year. The franchise is now 12 years old and still going strong. PAW PATROL was just renewed for Seasons 12 and 13. It also has a podcast: PAW PATROL: EYE-SPY A RESCUE.
It also has a spinoff series, RUBBLE & CREW, and two movies: PAW PATROL: THE MOVIE and PAW PATROL: THE MIGHTY MOVIE. Both movies are available on Paramount+, and a third one is in the works: PAW PATROL: THE DINO MOVIE, coming out on July 31, 2026.

PR Newswire reported that the movie will see the pups’ ship getting caught in a mysterious storm. They crash on an island with real-life dinos. They meet a local expert, a puppy named Rex, who’s been stranded on the island for years.
They find out Humdinger is mining the island and eventually causes a volcano to erupt. The PAW Patrol jumps into action to save the island’s inhabitants — including its larger-than-life dinosaurs. But they stick to their motto: “No job is too big, no pup is too small!”
“We are so excited to bring everyone’s favorite canine crew to a whole new, prehistoric world with this latest big-screen adventure,” said Ramsey Naito, President of Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation. “Audiences will get to experience a mashup of two perennial crowd-pleasers — THE PAW PATROL and dinosaurs — like never before! We can’t wait to share this latest chapter with kids and families everywhere!”
Part of Movieguide®’s review of PAW PATROL: THE MOVIE reads: “PAW PATROL: THE MOVIE has a strong moral worldview with some minor Christian imagery. The movie celebrates friendship, helping people in need and the idea of adoption.”
“There are two politically correct cross-dressing moments. For example, one dog says, ‘It’s not important how it looks; it’s how it makes you feel’ when a boy puppy accidentally gets dressed in girl’s clothes. However, PAW PATROL: THE MOVIE is a delightful animated feature of the popular TV program, with plenty of laughs and adventure.”
The upcoming PAW PATROL specials will be exciting additions to the beloved franchise.
