Social media star Jimmy Darts says “we’re all called to love” as he encourages others to give back.
“If you’ve got a beating heart, we need everyone on this planet as possible to join the fight, to love people and to be a servant and to do that,” he told Relevant Magazine. “There’s no — it’s not like becoming a pilot where you got to go to college for five years. To be kind to your roommate or your mom or whatever is absolutely free.”
Darts knows what he’s talking about; he built a massive online following through his videos of random acts of kindness, often surprising people in need with money donated by his fans.

“If you want to be generous with money and do it in the similar way that I do it, awesome,” he said. “Go for that. Start at a laundromat. It only costs a couple quarters to make somebody’s day. If you want to do it another way, if you’re gifted at something else, music, you want to sing songs over people, hope, go for that.”
Darts continued, “We’re all called to love. But how that looks and what expression that is, up to interpretation.”
In an interview with CBN, the influencer spoke about his faith, saying, “Every day, [I] thank the Lord that I get to do this. It’s a real blast.”
“When I was a senior in high school is when I actually…gave my life to Jesus,” he continued. “I stumbled across a Billy Graham video on YouTube, actually. And he just talked about, are you going to live for yourself? You going to serve your dreams? Are you going to live to serve other people, live for the kingdom and have eternity with the Lord?”
Darts continued, “It just really started this journey of following the Lord. I went from making crazy videos on the internet as like a party high school kid to my pastor saying, ‘Man, if you really believe what you’re saying, Jimmy, you’ll go home and delete everything.’ So I wiped my … videos and everything I had done, and I was like, ‘Man, I want to serve the Lord.’”
In a 2025 interview with Relevant Magazine, he shared, “I just try to do everything with friendship with Jesus…I want to know him, and I want to be his friend.”
Darts’ videos are a reminder that we’re all capable of showing kindness to each other every day, no matter how small these actions might seem.
