Fan-favorite Disney ride Soarin’ is about to get a patriotic makeover!
“Soarin’ will be receiving an all-new airborne adventure across the U.S,” a post to Disney’s Park Blog announced. “That’s right — you’ll soon be Soarin’ Across America at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, debuting Summer 2026!”
The theme parks also shared a video of actor Patrick Warburton, who appears as the chief flight attendant on the ride.

“Soon, as you sail through our spacious skies, you may see amber waves of grain, purple mountain majesties — that’s right. We’re gonna be Soarin’ Across America,” Warburton said in the clip. “What better way to celebrate the country’s semi-quincentennial than with a limited-time ‘sea to shining sea’ itinerary?”
Riders will see videos “highlighting some of the country’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes. This will be brought to life with the iconic elements that make Soarin’ unforgettable – the flight, the sights and score, even the scents!” Disney shared. “Walt Disney Imagineering is hard at work capturing more than a dozen breathtaking locations for the new flight.”
Fans of the original ride don’t need to worry about losing their favorite Disney attraction; a Disney representative told The L.A. Times that Soarin’ Across America will be a “limited time” offering.
Disney has several exciting projects and events in the works for the upcoming celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, including a 24-hour DISNEY CELEBRATES AMERICA broadcast set to take place on July 4, 2026, and a 2-hour special that “journeys through the heart of our nation – where the real-life spirit of iconic locales like New Orleans and the American frontier comes alive through the beloved lands of Disney Parks,” per a press release from Disney.
The parks will also put on their “Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” fireworks show, and offer patriotic-themed Disney merchandise while supplies last.
Additionally, Disney will continue its support of America’s servicemen and women through a $2.5 million donation to nonprofit Blue Star Families, which supports the families of military members and veterans.
“At its heart, America’s story is one of imagination, ambition, and possibility – the same ideals that have guided Disney since the beginning,” Bob Iger, Disney’s CEO, said. “This celebration honors both a nation and a spirit that never stop dreaming about what’s next.”
Disney fans can’t wait to celebrate this upcoming milestone through the parks’ patriotic ride revamps and fun events!
