WHEN CALLS THE HEART Season 11 Wraps Filming

The WHEN CALLS THE HEART cast revealed that they have completed filming season 11.
“That’s a wrap!!!” actor Jack Wagner announced on Instagram, along with a video of him and other cast members singing “That’s a wrap” together.
Many people commented on their excitement, especially when they saw Chris McNally, who plays Lucas Bouchard, in the post.
“Good to see @chrismcnally I hope that’s a sign that things turn out differently than we were thinking,” one user commented.
“Glad to see Lucas is still around!” another fan shared.
The upcoming season has fans anxiously awaiting answers from the season 10 finale.

As WHEN CALLS THE HEART season 10 draws to a close, fans have anxiously wondered what the future holds for Hope Valley and for Chris McNally’s character Lucas. In an interview, showrunner Lindsay Sturman revealed that Lucas will return in season 11. “Lucas is one of our leads and he always will be and he’s an incredible actor,” Sturman said. “His journey is incredibly exciting in season 11. And I think that…we get to see a side of him that we didn’t know…We went back and kind of mined what did we know about him, and then…carry those stories through because…there’s so much richness to the stories that we inherited. And then just growing them from there.”
Parade added, “Hallmark Media announced early on that their longest-running original series, WHEN CALLS THE HEART would return for an eleventh season! There are so many stories left to tell in Hope Valley, but Hallmark seems to be shifting away from scripted series.”
Although many shows will have a shorter upcoming season due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes, WHEN CALLS THE HEART will not be affected.
“Unlike other television productions, which paused filming amid the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, WHEN CALLS THE HEART was allowed to continue filming for Season 11 due to a waiver approved by the SAG-AFTRA union,” Soaps reported.
WHEN CALLS THE HEART season 11 is set to release in late 2024, although an exact date has not been announced.
