Social networks now refer more people to online videos than do video search engines, according to TubeMogul research.
Of all video views, consumers who go to YouTube, then run a search or click around the featured or related videos completed 45.13% of them. Of the Top 20 referral sites, Google was responsible for 7.19% of all referrals, Yahoo 2.12%, Facebook 1.93% and MySpace 1.55%.
