SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY is an origin story about the iconic hero Han Solo’s first adventures, including how he met Chewbacca, how he became owner of the Millennium Falcon, and how he got involved in his first big adventure. SOLO is like an exciting western in outer space, with outlaws, likeable scoundrels, menacing villains, mysterious women, and calculating good guys. SOLO has lots of heart, the plot points are on taarget, the actors look like they’re having fun, and Han and Chewbacca are often challenged to do the right thing. Caution is advised for some foul language, scary moments, and lots of laser battles.

DIARY OF A WIMPY KID: THE LONG HAUL - 7/17/2020

In DIARY OF A WIMPY KID: THE LONG HAUL, the Heffley family head out on a two-day trip to Meemaw’s 90th birthday, but things veer way off course when Greg schemes to go to a video gaming convention instead. Based on the popular Wimpy Kid book, THE LONG HAUL is loaded with some scatological humor and the comedy doesn’t always work, but it sticks to a moral, family-friendly framework where family bonds overcome selfishness.

The Disney animated feature BOLT is about a canine actor in a superhero show on TV who gets accidentally shipped to New York and must make his way back to Hollywood, with help from a sarcastic cat named Mittens and wacky hamster named Rhino. BOLT is great wholesome fun from beginning to end.

In SPIDER-MAN 3, Peter Parker and his heroic, costumed alter ego not only must battle three super villains but also the dark side of his own sinful human nature, a battle that endangers his relationship with the girl of his dreams. SPIDER-MAN 3 gives moviegoers a wonderful treat of action, humor, adventure, suspense, and spectacle that firmly endorses hope, faith, sacrifice, forgiveness, redemption, compassion, and love, in an overtly inspiring Christian message of good conquering evil.
