However, when she meets dashing Prince Philip, she may have discovered something important to her future than her past.

CINDERELLA CHRISTMAS BALL also extols family, duty and helping needy people. In addition, a character tells Chelsea that she belongs “wherever God puts you.” However, the movie never mentions Jesus, even though the real magic of Christmas is in the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ. That said, the story of love and service in A CINDERELLA CHRISTMAS BALL echoes the love and service that Jesus, the Son of God who died for our sins, brings to Earth.

A CINDERELLA CHRISTMAS BALL is a joyful Christmas romance on Great American Family.

Danica McKellar stars as Chelsea, an earnest and caring dance teacher. Chelsea is gifted at Christmastime with a trip to the small country of Havenshire to find the missing pieces of her family heritage. She doesn’t have much remaining of her late mother, but she does have a beautiful pendant necklace and a picture taken at the palace in Havenshire.

Chelsea travels a great distance just to find out from an overzealous guard that Havenshire is closed until after Christmas. She meets a kindly innkeeper and a mysterious bar guest who encourage her. They even give her tips on how to sneak into the palace.

Happily, the palace needs a dance teacher for the Prince. In the right place at the right time, Chelsea is hired. Chelsea soon discovers the mysterious bar room guest was none other than the Prince himself. Prince Philip has an aversion to learning the waltz. However, they have such an uncanny chemistry, he can’t help but to dance with Chelsea, who he coins his “breath of fresh air.”

As they grow closer, Chelsea learns that the waltz she teaches him will be instrumental helping him pick out his future bride from a few royally approved candidates on Christmas Eve. Meanwhile, all the leads Chelsea has in finding the details of her mother’s existence at the castle many years before, have gone cold.

Christmas Eve arrives. The Prince must choose his bride. Chelsea can’t bear to see her the Prince become engaged to another person. So, she plans to skip the affair altogether. She laments that she doesn’t belong there. However, a special friend assures her she belongs wherever God puts her.
