In DAREDEVIL: THE ONES WE LEAVE BEHIND, it’s revealed that the crime lord, Fisk, is being betrayed by his other criminal partners. Meanwhile, Matt’s friends Ben, Karen and Foggy are close to revealing evidence of Fisk’s crimes to the public. However, when Ben tries to publish an article on Fisk in the newspaper, he’s fired. Matt and Foggy are still not speaking to each other, though. Finally, Matt pursues a Japanese heroin smuggling operation with which Fisk was working. “The Ones We Leave Behind” has a lot of moving parts as the DAREDEVIL series draws near to its season finale. Not entirely satisfying, the episode ends on a cliff hanger with yet another shocking death. This episode doesn’t stand as tall as the previous ones. Caution is advised for some foul language, violence and drug references.
