What You Need To Know:
SAW X is a bloody paint-by-numbers torture porn horror movie. The abhorrent movie has lots of strong foul language. It tries to justify the protagonist’s vicious, ultraviolent games he plays on the crooks who’ve stolen money from him and other terminally ill cancer patients. The script uses biblical-sounding dialogue to do this, which seems rather blasphemous.

More Detail:
In SAW X, the judgmental Jigsaw killer, John Kramer, travels to Mexico to undergo a risky experimental medical procedure to cure his brain cancer, only to find that the entire operation is a scam, so he viciously turns the tables on the crooks behind the scam. SAW X is a bloody paint-by-numbers torture porn horror movie that also has lots of strong foul language and tries to morally justify the protagonist’s vicious, ultraviolent games he plays on the crooks who steal money from him and other terminally ill cancer patients.
SAW X takes place between the first SAW movie and SAW II. The movie opens with John Kramer, the Jigsaw killer, getting an MRI for his brain tumor. The doctor tells John that he has only about a few months to a year left to live.
Cut to John in a cancer therapy group. He sits and listens while a black man, Henry, tells the group that he has Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and only has a few months to live.
Two months later or so, John runs into Henry, who seems perfectly healthy. Henry tells John he’s taken an experimental cancer therapy from a Swedish doctor. The therapy included some surgery, and Henry shows John the large scar on his chest where the surgeon operated on the tumor affecting Henry’s pancreas.
John takes the website address Henry gave him for the doctor and learns that the doctor went into hiding from the authorities because Big Pharma is trying to completely shut him down legally.
The doctor’s daughter, Cecelia Pedersen, appears on the website, however. John learns from her that she’s still giving her father’s special treatment to patients, but in secret facilities.
John travels to Mexico City to get the treatment. He takes a taxi to a remote area outside the city. Suddenly, two masked gunmen take John captive, verify his identity and take him to a large isolated building, where he meets Cecelia. She tells John they must maintain a high level of security, because Big Pharma is always looking to send government authorities to shut them down and put her team in prison.
Cecelia’s team operates on John’s brain, then gives him a drug cocktail to take twice a day for seven days. John’s first blood tests seem to show some positive effects, and John promises Cecelia that he will send the second half of his payment later that day.
However, John soon gets suspicious and finds out his operation was all a fake to get his money. So, he starts to investigate the people he met at Cecelia’s temporary Mexican headquarters. He begins with the taxi driver, whom he kidnaps to interrogate him. Quicker than you can say, “Jigsaw killer,” John and Amanda, his co-conspirator in the United States, have drugged and chained all of Cecelia’s team in a dingy warehouse. They’ve tied several of them to various deadly traps. For instance, he attaches the nurse to a chair where a special surgeon’s saw will cut off her head unless she uses a razor sharp surgeon’s jigsaw to cut off her left leg and suck out enough marrow from her leg bone to stop the decapitation saw, all within three minutes.
John is saving a special trap for Cecelia, but she has an unknown compatriot. Together, they try to reverse the tables on John and Amanda.
