THE HARBINGERS OF THINGS TO COME is a documentary by Messianic Christian Rabbi Jonathan Cahn who warns that 9/11, the CIVID0-19 plague and the political division in 2020, and the fall of Afghanistan in 2021 are divine harbingers of America’s destruction if the people don’t repent and return to God. Using the example of the fall of Ancient Israel under Ancient Assyria and Babylon described in the Bible, Rabbi Cahn makes an excellent case for his timely warning to the people of the United States.
Cahn begins his thesis by going through the conclusions of his first movie, THE ISAIAH 9:10 JUDGMENT. He goes through the nine harbingers or signs that God gave to Ancient Israel reported in Isaiah 8 and 9 and 2 Chronicles 7:14. These signs were not intended to condemn Israel but to wake them up so they turned back to God and away from self-centered pagan behavior.
Rabbi Cahn shows America is in the same pagan condition today that Israel was. He points out, for example, that New York State legalized abortion in 1970 and exactly 50 years later started to be hit by the COVID-19 epidemic. He also notes that the pandemic struck New York 19 years after the Islamic terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001. This is the same amount of time it took for Ancient Babylon to conquer Ancient Israel from 605 BC to 586 BC, from the year Babylon stormed the gates of Jerusalem to the year Babylon began deportations of Jews from Israel to Babylon.
Rabbi Cahn makes an excellent case for his timely warning to the people of the United States. Cahn says, “America’s blessings and power come from God.” He notes that Henry Hudson sailed into Upper New York Bay on September 11, 1605. He also notes that, after his first inauguration ceremony at Federal Hall in New York City in 1789, President George Washington and the inaugural dignitaries and onlookers retired to St. Paul’s Church, where they consecrated the new country of the United States to God. However, after 9/11, instead of returning to God, Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle overtly mentioned Isaiah 9:10 and, like the prideful leaders of Ancient Israel, declared that America “will rebuild.” President Obama said a similar thing when he visited the new Freedom Tower on the site of “Ground Zero” in 2012. The site of St. Paul’s Church? Right next to Ground Zero and the Freedom Tower!
