HOOK
Quality:
****Content:
-1 Caution advised for older children, including teenagers, and sensitive adults. The movie HOOK, the sequel to PETER PAN, brings back the villainous Captain Hook to wreak revenge on Peter's children and shows a grown-up Peter, who is stressed out and needs to return to Never Never Land. The film contains sword fight violence, some sexual innuendo, a slightly tipsy Peter, and is probably too long for some small children to manage, although it does exhibit elaborate sets and excellent acting on the part of Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook and Robin Williams as Peter.

Hallie's thirteen-year-old brother, Ethan, and girlfriend, Stephanie, concoct a well-meaning but mischievous scheme to make her wish come true. ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS is an uplifting, pro-family film which proclaims the true meaning of Christmas as a church school choir sings "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," though there is a twinkling nod toward A MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET.
