Creators Confirm Christian Romance Movie THE FARMER AND THE BELLE Will Have a Sequel

Actress and actor-producer duo Jenn Gotzon and Jim E. Chandler recently announced the sequel to their faith-filled romance, THE FARMER AND THE BELLE.
The first movie excelled in its debut on DVD in November and a six-week run on Amazon’s “Best Sellers in Romance” list for new releases.
The husband and wife creators announced the news at the International Christian Film and Music Festival (ICFF) last month.
“After being, by God’s grace, a bestseller in romance on Amazon for six weeks, we saw the ministry hit, so we’re [going to] do a sequel, the ‘Farmer and the Belle 2,'” Gotzon told CP in a separate interview.
Part one of THE FARMER AND THE BELLE was inspired by a true story that illustrates the beauty of embracing one’s identity in God and how that leads to the true pathway to love. The sequel will venture into how to have a fruitful marriage.
“It’s about having a fulfilling marriage based on psychological and biblical values,” Gotzon said.
CP reported: “The Christian romance film is targeting women ages 34 to 54 and up. According to prlog.org, the second installment follows ‘newlyweds, fashion model Belle (Gotzon) and the small-town farmer (Chandler) from the first movie.'”

THE FARMER AND THE BELLE: SAVING SANTALAND follows Belle Winters, a tired supermodel who’s worried about aging out of the industry. One evening in her apartment in New York City, Belle remembers a charm bracelet with biblical beauty affirmations that her grandmother gave Belle when she was a child. Belle no longer has the bracelet but thinks it might be at Santaland, a Christmas farm where she played in her youth. Desperate to find the bracelet, Belle sets out to find it and ends up finding herself in the process.
THE FARMER AND THE BELLE: SAVING SANTALAND is a wide video on demand release. The fact that the story is based on true events adds to its appeal. SAVING SANTALAND has a strong Christian, biblical worldview. Its message stresses on finding your worth from the truth of God rather than the standards of the world. Also, several scenes showcase prayer, the true meaning of Christmas, and the value of public confession and repentance. THE FARMER AND THE BELLE: SAVING SANTALAND is a “feel good” movie for families, with little questionable content.
Gotzen, who plays Belle Winters, added that the movie is inspired from biblical themes of love.
“When we first started dating, this pastor, Pastor David, explained you have three loves from the Bible. Raya, Ahava and Dod. Raya is friendship. Ahava is that forever loyalty, and Dod is the passion which is ‘ooh la la,'” she explained.
The three terms represent a different form of love in their original Old Testament Hebrew context.
“When you have all three of those loves burning together under God’s flame, that’s the composition of what makes true love within a marriage,” Gotzon said. “So that’s what we have to strive for in a marriage.”
