Each of them is appropriate for older children and adults, though some are acceptable for younger children. Take your pick from our list, and happy streaming!

THE PRINCESS SWITCH is about a young woman named Stacy who travels all the way from Chicago to Belgravia for a baking contest and meets a Duchess who looks exactly like her, so the two women switch places. THE PRINCESS SWITCH is a fun, cute and clean movie, with strong positive moral themes, that the whole family can enjoy together.
The 1954 movie WHITE CHRISTMAS is a timeless classic Christmas musical which remains entertaining for all ages. This Oscar winner is set in green Vermont where a successful musical duo follows two sisters to a hotel in Vermont run by the duo’s beloved General from World War II. WHITE CHRISTMAS is enchanting and filled with beautiful dance numbers, fabulous photography and gorgeous singing from the whole cast.

HOLIDAY IN THE WILD follows Kate, a “retired” veterinarian who travels alone to Africa and finds a new joy for life when her husband abandons her and her son leaves for college. HOLIDAY IN THE WILD is a joyful, heartwarming, well-acted television movie with a strong Christian, moral worldview that promotes selflessness, friendship, love, generosity, and celebrating Christmas, but marred by divorce and romantic follow your heart elements.

THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES is a TV movie on Netflix about two children who try to help Santa finish delivering his presents when they interrupt Santa’s trip spreading joy on Christmas Eve. THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES is very funny and action-packed and has a lot of heartwarming, pro-family, redemptive content, but it’s mixed with unfortunate stealing, some other light moral lapses, pratfalls, and cute Christmas elves who turn into gremlins.
In THE PRINCESS SWITCH: SWITCHED AGAIN, Stacy tries to help her friend, Kevin, get back together with Margaret, who’s about to be crowned Queen of Montenaro, but Margaret’s greedy, conniving cousin, Fiona, throws a monkey wrench into Stacy’s plans. Streaming on Netflix, THE PRINCESS SWITCH: SWITCHED AGAIN takes a while to get started, but the movie’s second half is funny, with some good jeopardy, and has an uplifting ending with strong, overt Christian, biblical elements.

JINGLE JANGLE: A CHRISTMAS JOURNEY follows an inventor who has lost his motivation when his work is stolen and his wife passes away, but is inspired once again when his granddaughter comes to live with him. Streaming on Netflix, JINGLE JANGLE: A CHRISTMAS JOURNEY is a fun, exciting, heartfelt musical that has a strong moral, redemptive worldview stressing love, family, forgiveness, and the joy of creation and including positive references to Christmas and prayer, but focuses too much on personal belief.

KLAUS is an animated fantasy about a young postman who teams up with a toymaker named Klaus to deliver toys to children living in a faraway, unhappy town split in two by a terrible feud. KLAUS has some cartoon violence, brief implied magic and no references to Christmas, but it’s a witty, charming movie with heartwarming moments.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS DROP is a romantic comedy streaming on Netflix about a Congressional aide named Erica, who’s forced by her boss to travel to Gaum and work over the Christmas holidays against the backdrop of Anderson Air Force Base’s annual humanitarian Christmas drop. The comedy in OPERATION CHRISTMAS DROP is hit or miss, but the movie’s historical background, good performances and heartfelt messages of humility, sacrifice, love, and Christmas cheer overshadow the blandness.

THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES: PART TWO is an adventure-filled family Christmas movie about a former elf who wants to take the star that powers the North Pole for his own greedy motives, unless Santa and his team band together to stop him. THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES: PART TWO is an engaging Christmas movie with plenty of jeopardy, strong moral elements and references to the Star of Bethlehem, but there are some magical Santa Claus elements and light action violence.
ALIEN XMAS is an adorable animated Christmas special on Netflix about an alien named X who learns about the Christmas spirit. ALIEN XMAS is an adorable Christmas special with strong moral, redemptive values that rebukes greed and extols kindness, family, sacrificial love, and generosity, but it never directly addresses the birth of Jesus the Messiah, the true meaning of Christmas.

A BOY CALLED CHRISTMAS is an adventure fantasy streaming on Netflix about a young boy named Nikolas who befriends a talking mouse and a reindeer in his quest to find his father and the mysterious, legendary city of Elfhelm, to bring hope to the kingdom. A BOY CALLED CHRISTMAS is a creative, fantastical origin story about Father Christmas and stresses hope, trust and family, but it contains some pagan mythology, occult elf magic, and no references to the real reason for Christmas, Jesus.
In THE PRINCESS SWITCH 3: ROMANCING THE STAR, Queen Margaret and Princess Stacy call in their mischievous cousin, Fiona, after a beautiful Christian relic that belonged to St. Nicholas is stolen. Streaming on Netflix, THE PRINCESS SWITCH 3 is an entertaining, fun, enjoyable Christmas movie with a Christian, moral worldview about forgiveness, repentance and doing the right thing.

In A CASTLE FOR CHRISTMAS a novelist travels to Scotland to visit a castle where her late father used to work and get away from her hectic life, but along the way she finds love and adventure. A CASTLE FOR CHRISTMAS has some fun twists and appealing performances, with positive Christian, moral content, but it’s a little predictable and contains an implied sex scene, brief foul language and a brief reference to a man being married to another man.

DOLLY PARTON’S CHRISTMAS ON THE SQUARE is an entertaining, flamboyant musical on Netflix about a small town with a vibrant church threatened by a wicked real estate woman, whose father built the town, who wants to sell the whole town to build the biggest mall in America. CHRISTMAS ON THE SQUARE has a powerful, emotional redemptive ending, but focuses more on angels than on Jesus at Christmas, has some light foul language and heavy themes, so caution is advised.
