FULLER HOUSE Joins GAC Family Network

By Movieguide® Contributor

Fans of FULLER HOUSE can now view the beloved Tanner family’s hijinks, highs and lows away from Netflix. GAC Family (formerly Great American Country) picked up the family favorite for broadcasting on its cable channel beginning February 28. According to a review on Movieguide®:

Candace Cameron Bure’s FULLER HOUSE: Season 5 is delightful in many ways, and Movieguide® deems the Netflix original series appropriate for older children and adults. We’re breaking down what you need to know from context to highlights.

FULLER HOUSE is a spin-off show of the hit series FULL HOUSE, which ran from 1987 to 1995. Candace Cameron Bure stars as DJ Fuller, who’s a widow providing for her family and living with her best friend, Kimmy Gibbler, and younger sister Stephanie Tanner.

FULLER HOUSE definitely works to satisfy its niche audience and does so with ease.

The five seasons of FULLER HOUSE, which originally aired on and was ultimately cancelled by Netflix, is joining parent series FULL HOUSE to become the first linear TV airing of the entire series. GAC has been gaining ground in the family-friendly content arena after launching in September 2021. According to an article on Movieguide®:

The network, which was known as Great American Country, was acquired by Bill Abbott, former President and CEO of Crown Media Family Networks, the parent company of Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

The network rebranded and became available on September 27, 2021. It has since been building its own programming powerhouse after signing several Hallmark stars to exclusive production deals. Jen Lilly is their most recent, following Trevor Donovan and Danica McKellar.

Bure co-hosted the Movieguide® Awards ceremony with actress daughter Natasha Bure in 2019. Cameron is a vocal and active Christian and a champion for wholesome media content with a Christian worldview. She says of her faith in an article on Movieguide®:

“When the Gospel message was presented to me in a way that held my goodness up against the law of God’s goodness, I saw for the first time that I didn’t even come close to being able to achieve what God considers goodness.”

Viewer and tune in to watch FULLER HOUSE on GAC Family weeknights 10p-1a ET.
