STRONG FATHERS, STRONG DAUGHTERS is a family comedy streaming on Pure Flix. A wealthy businessman named Steve Parston is surprised by his oldest daughter, Abby’s, sudden engagement to a missionary. Steve wants to support his first-born daughter, but he’s disappointed she wants to do missions and not continue in their family business. Steve wants to protect his daughter and hatches a plan to keep Abby close to home. However, when his scheming fails, he must reconcile supporting his daughter versus wanting to protect her. Will Steve’s selfish motives get the best of him? Or, will he be able to sacrifice his best wishes for his daughter and learn to love his family selflessly?

STRONG FATHERS, STRONG DAUGHTERS is a funny, heartfelt comedy full of faith, prayer, and themes of sacrifice, trust and family. Despite Steve’s shortcomings, the movie champions family, parenthood and marriage. One of Steve’s daughters is rebellious throughout the movie, but each character learns from their mistakes. There’s an underage party scene and some tense moments in STRONG FATHERS, STRONG DAUGHTERS. However, it’s a faith-friendly comedy the whole family can enjoy.

STRONG FATHERS, STRONG DAUGHTERS is a comedy streaming on Pure Flix about a wealthy businessman who is surprised by his oldest daughter’s sudden engagement to a missionary and hatches a plan to keep her safe and close to home, but eventually must reconcile what it means to be a strong father to all three of his daughters. STRONG FATHERS, STRONG DAUGHTERS is a funny, heartfelt comedy that full of faith, prayer and themes of sacrifice, trust and family.

Steve Parston is a successful businessman who lands a career deal. Steve takes pride in the work he does, but he also loves his wife and their three daughters. Steve is excited to tell his family about the deal, but the night is made even more special after his eldest daughter, Abby, makes a surprise visit home.

Steve, who always hoped his daughter would work with him at his business one day, says he implemented her ideas, and she should be the one to present them. She agrees, but after a successful presentation, she tells her father she doesn’t want to take the job. Steve is noticeably upset and inquires why she made her decision.

Abby reveals that she met a missionary and that they recently got engaged. Before Steve can process this information, Abby says that her fiancé is coming to their house the very next day!

Steve doesn’t give them his blessings but agrees to support their marriage. However, after thinking more about her career path as a missionary, he decides to hatch a plan to keep her closer to home.

As the family plan the wedding and choose the venue, Steve is worried he’s losing his first-born daughter. However, her fiancé’s family encourages Steve to read an advice book titled STRONG FATHERS, STRONG DAUGHTERS, by Meg Meeker. However, Steve discards it as he continues to scheme against his daughter’s new career choice.

Sadly, when his true thoughts are heard by both families, Abby and her fiancé decide to not include her family in their wedding. Steve continues to struggle to reconcile supporting his daughter’s desires versus his desire to protect her.

Will Steve be able to sacrifice his best wishes for his daughter and be a strong father and husband to his family?
