Cameron Diaz Loves Husband’s Songs He Writes for Daughter: ‘Sweetest’

During an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Cameron Diaz shared a little bit about her private life, gushing about how good her husband, Benji Madden, is with their daughter.
“He’s like, Benj at home, being the best dad ever and running all of his businesses,” Diaz told Fallon.
When Madden isn’t out performing with his band Good Charlotte, he is at home making songs for his daughter Raddix.
“He makes up [songs for Raddix],” Diaz said. “I’m like, ‘Why don’t we just… you need to do a kids’ album, because he has the best songs. They play in my head all the time because he sings them to her and she knows the words. And it’s the sweetest thing ever. It really is. It’s so… it kills me.”
“He has some bangers,” she added. “I’m telling you.”
Diaz and Madden are very protective of Raddix and work to keep her from the spotlight, rarely talking about her online and with the media.
When Raddix was born, the couple shared that they “feel a strong instinct to protect our little one’s privacy, so we won’t be posting pictures or sharing any more details, other than the fact that she is really, really cute! Some would even say RAD.”

Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz, known for her roles in SHREK and 2014’s ANNIE, revealed that her time away from the big-screen will continue now that she is a mother.
Diaz, who last appeared in a movie seven years ago, said that becoming a mother changed her perspective on her career in Hollywood.
“Will, I ever make a movie again? I’m not looking to, but will I? I don’t know. I have no idea. Maybe. Never say never,” Diaz said on the radio show QUARANTINED WITH BRUCE. “But I couldn’t imagine being a mom now where I’m at as a mother, with my child at her first year, to have to be on a movie set that takes 14 hours, 16 hours of my day away from my child.”
