THE DOMINO REVIVAL Returning to Theaters After Sparking Miracles
By Movieguide® Contributor
THE DOMINO REVIVAL, a movie that captures Jesus’ incredible power through preaching, healings and deliverances from demonic forces, will return to theaters on Nov. 13 due to popular demand.
“THE DOMINO REVIVAL movie was released in over 1,000 theaters,” said Pastor Mike Signorelli, the creator of the movie. “People were canceling their own suicides, praying for each other in the movie theater, and casting out demons in public because of that [movie].”
“I didn’t make a movie just for Pentecostals, or just for charismatics, or just for Baptists,” he added. “I really attempted to make a movie about the Gospel, because what we all should agree on within orthodoxy is the Gospel and that Christ, the son of the living God, came, died for our sins, and, one the third day, rose again.”
Part of Movieguide®’s review of the movie reads:
The first half of DOMINO REVIVAL tells its compelling story through fast-paced, intriguing, “talking head” interviews. Mike and the other church leaders recount their efforts spread like wildfire across the internet. The second half switches gears to show videos of the powerful spiritual impact the revival inspired. It shows thousands of people getting baptized in ocean services, and countless more speaking in tongues and expressing themselves in other fascinating ways. The most compelling footage shows people actively being delivered from demonic affliction and suicidal desperation to find new life in Christ. THE DOMINO REVIVAL is crisply edited to keep viewers thoroughly engaged and moved. It discusses some mature themes like depression, suicide, demonic affliction, and society’s moral decline. However, they’re all part of the movie’s powerful Christian, moral uplift.
THE DOMINO REVIVAL was released in the U.S. at the end of October as an evangelism tool to reach those put off by the church. During its time in theaters, Signorelli received hundreds of testimonies about the deliverance found through the movie.
One girl, for example, was filled by the Holy Spirit during the movie and found freedom from suicidal thoughts that she had previously struggled with.
“I raised my hand and the fire of the Holy Spirit went from my fingers to the bottom of my feet,” she said. “I was trembling and I was shaking. I went in there ready to change somebody else’s life through deliverance and lo and behold, I got deliverance.”
“As society’s fascination with the supernatural intensifies, this film unveils the awe-inspiring power of Jesus Christ,” a description of the movie reads. “Through compelling Gospel preaching, documented miracles, triumph over despair, and liberation from demons, THE DOMINO REVIVAL captures the essence of spiritual hunger and delivers a profound cinematic experience.”
Signorelli believes that his movie is just one tool God is using to bring Christianity back to America and fight against the atheistic movement that has swept the country in recent years.
“People are revolting against this new world – this new America, the new ideals, the new definitions of things,” he said. “And they’re finding it’s not working, and what appears to be freedom is actually not freedom at all.”
THE DOMINO REVIVAL returns to theaters on November 13. Those interested in the encore release can find out more here.
Movieguide® previously reported:
THE DOMINO REVIVAL, a faith-based documentary from pastor Mike Signorelli, was released on October 24, but big tech platforms prevented him and others from promoting the movie.
“Meta, what are you doing?!” a frustrated Signorelli said in a Facebook post. “I can’t even post on my own Facebook a picture of the movie poster from this film. Stephanie of Facebook says ‘It removed my DOMINO REVIVAL post…’”
The documentary highlights a revival that spread through online and in-person events, following several pastors and their ministries.
