“Mark your calendars! 🐾 PAW PATROL: THE DINO MOVIE hits theaters August 14, 2026, and it might just be your little one’s perfect first movie experience,” Parents reported on Instagram.

“When the PAW Patrol’s archrival, Mayor Humdinger, begins recklessly mining in hopes of exploiting the island for its natural resources, he inadvertently causes a huge, dormant volcano to erupt,” it continues. “The PAW Patrol pups are thrown into a series of high-stakes, dino-sized rescues bigger than anything they’ve done before, as they must stop Humdinger before everything on the island goes extinct.”
The movie stars Lucien Duncan-Reid as Rubble, Nylan Parthipan as Zuma, Carter Young as Marshall, Hayden Chemberlen as Rex, Rain Janjua as Chase and William Desrosiers as Rocky. Newcomer Henry Bolan plays Ryder. A slew of fan-favorites, including Jameela Jamil, Terry Crews, Paris Hilton, Snoop Dogg, Bill Nye, Meredith MacNeill and Ron Pardo will also star. Other new additions are Jennifer Hudson and comedian Fortune Feimster. Mckenna Grace reprises her role as Skye.
PAW PATROL: THE DINO MOVIE follows the first two installments in the PAW Patrol franchise, PAW PATROL: THE MOVIE and PAW PATROL: THE MIGHTY MOVIE. Together, the first movies garnered over $350 million at the worldwide box office.
Part of Movieguide®’s review for PAW PATROL: THE MIGHTY MOVIE reads:
PAW PATROL: THE MIGHTY MOVIE is a fun, action-packed movie for all ages. It has a strong moral worldview stressing sharing, selfless acts, courage, and the importance of family. It does have some scenes of cartoon action and peril, along with a scene about an orphaned pup that could bother younger viewers. Ultimately, THE MIGHTY MOVIE succeeds in showing that real power comes from sharing, loving one another and family.
Spin Master, the children’s entertainment movie behind THE DINO MOVIE, said that Jennifer Dodge, Laura Clunie, and Toni Stevens will produce, alongside Spin Master Co-Founder Ronnen Harary as executive producer with Nickelodeon Movies.
“This amazing assembly of performers is befitting of the dino-sized franchise that is PAW Patrol. Alongside the brilliant talent already involved in the film, these cast additions will make this a must-see adventure, as our beloved team of rescue pups enters its second decade of captivating kids and families worldwide,” Dodge, President of Spin Master Entertainment, said in the press release.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring audiences everywhere this next chapter of PAW Patrol that is bigger, better, and bolder than ever – featuring a standout cast that brings these characters to life in fresh and exciting ways,” Ramsey Naito, President of Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation, added.
With a dinosaur-filled storyline and an all-star cast, PAW PATROL: THE DINO MOVIE promises to deliver its biggest, most action-packed adventure yet for families this summer.
