SHARK TANK’s 18th season will feature a star-studded lineup of guest judges, from YouTuber MrBeast to Hollywood star Mindy Kaling.
“The network announced that Mindy Kaling, Jimmy Donaldson (a.k.a. MrBeast), J.J. Watt, Erin Foster, Sara Foster and Steven Bartlett will appear as guest Sharks during the upcoming season, joining the long-running panel of investors as they evaluate aspiring entrepreneurs and decide which businesses deserve their backing,” PEOPLE reported.
The outlet also revealed that Season 18 will see a “major change to the show’s lineup” — former recurring guest Sharks Kendra Scott and Rashaun Williams have officially been promoted to permanent Sharks.
In a 2025 interview, Williams compared SHARK TANK to “the NFL Draft,” saying, “I get to sit next to people who are entrepreneurs and some of the best investors in the country, asking questions that I don’t get to ask. And I get to see the reaction of entrepreneurs after I invest, which I’ve never seen before.”

“I sometimes cry and I’m emotional about it, and I mean, this is like a platform that I can take the financial literacy that I’ve been teaching for 25 years to the masses, because I love to teach, but the way my bank account is set up, I can’t afford to be a teacher, so now I get to do both,” he continued.
Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Daniel Lubetzky and Kevin O’Leary are all set to return as well.
So, what are the Sharks looking for this season?
Supervising Casting Producer Mindy Zemrak spoke to ABC 7 Chicago about casting for Season 18, sharing, “We are looking for passionate, driven entrepreneurs who are ready to take their business to the next level with an investment. There’s no single mold with SHARK TANK. That’s what’s so great. What matters most is that you believe in your product, you know why it exists and you’re ready to grow.”
Reflecting on SHARK TANK’s success over the years, Greiner told PEOPLE earlier this year, “I think one of the things that I love about our show is that 18 years later people come up to me all the time and they say, ‘This is the only show my whole family watches together.’”
“Five-year-olds all the way up to mom, dad, grandma, siblings. Everybody watches it together and agrees upon it, and I think it’s lovely that we have a show that brings families together,” she continued. “Then we help entrepreneurs, and it makes people happy.”
SHARK TANK Season 18 is set to premiere Sept. 2 on ABC.
