Italian singer Andrea Bocelli made headlines this week with a surprise visit to the White House, where he performed for President Donald Trump and announced another upcoming appearance.

Members of the Trump administration shared the news online after Bocelli sang part of his iconic song “Con Te Partiro.”

President Trump said of the event, “He’s coming December 5th to perform at the White House for some of the people. If the cabinet members are good, if they’re doing a good job, we’ll let them come along with some others, right? We’re gonna have a good time.”

Trump’s assistant Margo Martin posted a special video of the event to X.

People responded with clips and post in appreciation of the musician.

In addition to his upcoming December White House performance, the tenor will also perform at the Capital One Arena on December 14.

Deadline reported, “Bocelli’s appearance will take place two days before the Kennedy Center Honors, which will be different this year, with Trump himself hosting and playing a major role in selecting the awardees. They are Sylvester Stallone, Gloria Gaynor, KISS, Michael Crawford and George Strait.”

The White House performance came ahead of Ukrainian President Zelensky’s visit to the White House.

Recently, Bocelli released a documentary about his legendary journey as a performer. In a post to Instagram, he thanked God for all he has done.

In the caption, he said, “The remarkable success of ‘Andrea Bocelli: Because I Believe’ lies both in the quality of the many professionals who poured their talent into it, and in the countless wonderful fans who found themselves reflected in the episodes and values portrayed…. As the very title suggests, I believe: I believe in the One who created the world; I believe in human beings, in their intelligence and kindness; I believe in music as a tool that can help us become better.”
