Annie F. Downs is making her TV debut with new show I GOTTA ASK.

“Wellllll….Ya girl went and got herself a TV SHOW!” Downs, host of the popular “That Sounds Fun” podcast, posted on Facebook. “Starting May 28 (TWO WEEKS!!), you’ll be able to watch I GOTTA ASK WITH ANNIE F. DOWNS — each episode is a roundtable conversation, with friends, celebrities, and coaches, helping us dig deeper into topics like fear, money, dating, grief, faith…you know, the easy stuff.”

Downs promised viewers will be “blown away by the wisdom and humor of each episode.”

“In the words of all of us: WOWIE ZOWIE!” she concluded.

I GOTTA ASK will have six episodes, featuring both public figures and friends in conversation about everything from faith and grief to budgeting issues.

“I have always loved time around the table, sitting with friends, asking honest questions, and seeing what unfolds,” Downs told Woman’s World. “I am so excited to bring these conversations to Wonder Project. My hope is that viewers feel like they are right there with us, joining us in this place where curiosity is welcome, faith is explored, and asking more questions is the norm, not the exception. No one has to have it all figured out, we just get to be together and share our stories.”

Tristen Tuckfield, head of content acquisition at Wonder Project, said, “We’ve been huge fans of Downs for a long time and are proud to bring her honest voice and perspective to our audience.”

This isn’t the only exciting piece of news Downs has shared recently; earlier this month, she announced her engagement to drummer JW Jaeger.

“I’m so happy I get to marry this man,” she wrote on Facebook, alongside photos of the couple.

Jaeger also posted about the engagement on Facebook, writing, “One quiet weekend this spring, I got to ask my best friend, my favorite person, the love of my whole actual life — if she would spend the rest of her life with me. And she said YES! A day started out in nature and ended with friends around the table smiling, laughing, rejoicing and saying — look at how good God is.”

“Annie, thank you for loving me and for going on our journey with me,” he continued. “You light up every single room you step your tiny little feet in. And I’m so proud to be on your arm. Through every season. Thank you, Jesus. THANK YOU! Thank You for keeping our promises to us.”

I GOTTA ASK’s first two episodes premiere on May 28 on the Wonder Project’s Prime Video channel.
