Kids show BLUEY is getting a special extended episode with Disney.

The episode, titled “The Sign,” will see the Heeler family getting ready for the “wedding event of the year.” Producers say to expect “laughs, a few tears and exciting guest voices in this super-sized episode,” Deadline reported.

The hit children’s series follows “the adventures of a lovable & inexhaustible six-year-old puppy, who along with her sister Bingo, parents and friends is learning all about the world.”

The Sign” is BLUEY’s first extended-length special. It will premiere April 14 at 12:00 a.m. PDT on Disney+, 7:00 a.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Junior and 7:30 a.m. EDT/PDT on Disney Channel, Disney reported.

“We’re so excited to share that a 28-minute special episode is coming in 2024. There’ll be lots of laughs, exciting guest voices, and definitely a few tears,” wrote Ludo Studio, the show’s producer. “We’re so incredibly proud of the awesome team behind the series, and we can’t wait for Australia and the world to watch this very special Bluey episode with their family and friends.”

The episode will feature the reprised roles of Dave McCormack and Melanie Zanetti “as the voices of Bandit and Chilli Heeler, and Patrick Brammall returns as the voice of Uncle Rad, Claudia O’Doherty as Frisky, alongside Megan Washington as Calypso, Myf Warhurst as Trixie, and Rose Byrne as Aunt Brandy. Making their BLUEY voice debut are Rove McManus, Deborah Mailman, Brendan Williams, and Joel Edgerton,” Animation World Network wrote.

BLUEY continues to be a massive hit. It’s won multiple awards, including the BAFTA Children & Young People Awards, a Critics Choice Award nomination, the International Kids Emmy Awards and the Television Critics Association Award.
