Christian music group Housefires recently appeared on Fox & Friends latest segment, “Faith & Friends Concert Series.”
Lead singer Ryan Ellis and his band sang a song from their upcoming album called, “Lean on the Lord.”
“We got our EP dropping on 3/24 and then we got our album dropping on 4/21, so make sure to pre-save that and look for that to come soon,” he said.
“We make music that is really accessible to people who are trying to start something in their house,” he continued. “We are so used to going to these church buildings or different places, but the heart behind our music is to give people easy access, a tool, to worship with their friends or start something in their home.”
Ellis added that the song, “Lean on the Lord” is about our daily relationship with God.
“Leaning on the Lord is having God’s goodness at the forefront of your mind. Seeing through the eyes of Jesus and being able to hear what he says about you and then being able to walk out that and seeing it in other people. Leaning on the Lord is just daily communing with God. A lot of prayer,” he said.
“This is the only type of house fire you should be starting,” he joked.
The music group took to Instagram after their performance of ‘Lean on the Lord,’: “FAM!! What an honor to perform on @foxandfriends this morning! Thank y’all so much for having us!”
