Actress Danica McKellar recently announced her next movie with Great American Family, based on a story that she co-wrote with Marcy Holland.
ROYAL CHRISTMAS BALL is the next movie starring McKellar. The actress will also executive produce the new holiday movie, alongside Brad Krevoy, for the Great American Family Network.
Deadline reported on the movies’ plot:
In Royal Christmas Ball, Chelsea Shaw, a Chicago-based dance instructor whose adoptive parents have long since passed, travels to the small European country of Havenshire over Christmas break in search of her heritage… and maybe even family. Discovering that the only way to get access to information she needs on her quest is via the royal family, she accepts an offer to teach a very reluctant Prince a special Waltz for the traditional Royal Christmas Ball. By the end of this Christmas adventure, Chelsea finds love, answers to her deepest questions, and yes, family.
McKellar starred in THE WINTER PALACE last year, after she signed on contract with the Great American Family network in 2021.

Actress Danica McKellar recently shared her experience starring in and producing the all-new movie on GAC Family, THE WINTER PALACE.
McKellar, who is best known for her role as Winnie Cooper in the iconic THE WONDER YEARS, shared her love for GAC Media after filming the new romance movie.
“So this is my first movie for GAC family,” McKellar said in a recent DayTime interview. “It’s called THE WINTER PALACE, and I play a struggling writer. I have writer’s block. I write romance novels but can’t write to save my life. My best friend works at a property management company and says ‘look, we’ve got this beautiful chalet and it’s empty and we need a caretaker for a week to fill in. And you can get some writing done. The family who owns it is this wealthy European family and they never show up.’”
McKellar recently opened up about her newfound faith in Christ, after co-star Candace Cameron Bure invited her to church and gifted her a Bible.

Great American Family actors Danica McKellar and Candace Cameron Bure recently discussed their faith and how they celebrate the Christmas holiday.
McKellar recently joined the CANDACE CAMERON BURE PODCAST and thanked Bure for her gift of a bible which led to a new relationship with Jesus earlier this year.
“Candace, I don’t wanna brush over the huge, huge impact that you’ve had on my life this year,” McKellar said. “I don’t even know how to call that like friendship, it’s more than that. Because of you helping me to find my relationship with God and Jesus, it’s been like a revolution in my life. It’s been a revelation in my life.”
“You gave me this Bible that I read all the time and I love it so much and I go to church now and I just, I talk to Jesus all the time every day. It’s unbelievable. And you were like my guide. You were just an angel in my life and you still are. And I just wanna thank you for that publicly,” she added.
