DUCK DYNASTY’s Jase Robertson is extending an invite to podcaster Theo Von for some “healing” following Von’s recent comments about searching for spiritual fulfillment.
“I’m starting to just feel something different,” Von said in a recent episode of his “This Past Weekend W/ Theo Von” podcast, sharing a recent reading of John 5 that emotionally moved him.
In the story, Jesus asks a man, “Do you want to be healed?” — a question Von then asked himself.

“Do I really want something different?” he asked. “And sometimes, a lot [of times] the answer is no, I don’t. I’m scared of — I don’t know what I am. I don’t know if I don’t want to do what it takes to get — I can’t even tell what it is.”
He continued, “Some of this stuff, it’s a little hard for me to say, I think. I don’t even know why. But I think I want a new story.”
Jase, who watched the clip during an episode of his own “Unashamed” podcast, invited Von to come talk with him and brother Al Robertson.
“We’ll get into some healing,” Jase said. “I know a guy who’s really good at creating a new set of circumstances for you. And He’s a really good healer.”
Jase then reflected on the impact of sinful behavior and how it can cause you to struggle with your faith.
“Sin tends to…there’s a loneliness that comes with it, a detachment. You separate yourself from God,” he explained, adding that focusing too much on the “rules” can cause people to feel anxious in their relationship with God.
Jase shared, “When you look at what we have in Christ, that’s why you’re in this state of ‘you’re not worried about…am I gonna lose my salvation because I broke this rule?’ No, it’s a relationship with the Lord, who is multifaceted…all you gotta do is think about it.”
Von has previously spoken about his faith; in a 2024 interview, he admitted, “Hey, I’m looking for the Lord. I always am. I’ll say, ‘I’m looking for the Lord,” and then somebody told me, ‘The Lord ain’t lost.’”
In a 2025 episode of his podcast, Von shared that he attends a Bible study group that includes friend and country star Morgan Wallen.
