Prayers pour in from fans as 3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold continues to battle Stage 4 cancer.
“How does time go so fast,” Arnold wrote in a recent anniversary post for his wife Jennifer. “You’ve been a part of my life forever but you’ve made the last 16 the best 16 years so far. Thank you for being my best friend baby. Here’s to sooooo many more! I love you.”

Arnold’s followers quickly filled the comment section with well-wishes and prayers for his recovery.
“Praying for you. Keep fighting! Trust God in your healing… God bless!” one fan wrote. Another commented, “Lord please HEAL THIS MAN, HIS MUSIC VOICE is EVERYTHING to So many of us. in JESUS PRECIOUS HOLY NAME I PRAY THIS AMEN.”
Arnold announced he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 carcinoma earlier this year, canceling a series of summer tour dates.
“I had been sick a couple of weeks ago and went to the hospital and got checked out, and actually got the diagnosis that I had clear cell renal carcinoma that had metastasized into my lung,” he shared in a video. “It’s Stage 4, and that’s not real good.”
Arnold added, “We serve a mighty God and he can overcome anything, so I have no fear. I really, sincerely am not scared of it at all.”
The rocker often shares his faith, both on social media and onstage. During a January concert earlier this year, Arnold told the audience, “I feel like I can identify with this song more than most of our songs…This world surrounds by a message we’ll never be good enough, we’ll never be strong enough, we’ll never be beautiful enough, we’ll never be rich enough.”
“My friends, I just want to take a second to tell you, that’s an absolute lie. You are loved. You are enough, and you will win,” he continued. “Not only can you win, but you will win. You’ll always be enough for one reason: and that’s because Jesus Christ loves you.”
“Jesus Christ loves you so much that He made you just the way you are, just the way you’re standing there right now,” Arnold concluded. “He also loves you to let you know that you’re not complete. I promise you there’s more, and you will win.”
As Arnold continues to battle cancer, his fans around the world are praying for his health and recovery.
